1979
A story started by Amila Sood in Shimla, the inception of the Procolor name began 41 years back in Sector 17 Chandigarh. Being the daughter of Late Shri Roshan Lal Sood, Amila started out on her own, not knowing that she is taking the first step in creating a studio that captures love with love!
1985
From a studio pioneering in super-specialized print to a one-of-a-kind Wedding filming and image production house in entire Northern India, the Procolor name continued to evolve with the passage of time. One of the biggest labs with a 48hrs delivery timeline with franchises in all the surrounding states, Procolor expanded its office from sector 17 to sector 35 in Chandigarh!
1994
Always being one step ahead of the trends, and learning everything from the contemporaries in and outside the country, Procolor opened the biggest one of its kind, Kodak Express showroom in Asia!
2003
With the changing world of the digital revolution and the fading of film cameras, 2003 was a year of extreme change around Procolor. A complete switch from the analog to the digital and complete staff training by specialists in the field, Procolor took its first step in the sea of the Digital Revolution.
2014
A long due Rebranding and revamping of the brand into one of the core principles it was based on, capturing the love around with love in their heart, Procolor now started their specialization in the luxury wedding market!
2017
Answering the need of the market, Procolor launches a new platform for children who want to enroll and experience the world behind a camera. Professionals with in-depth knowledge of Camera, lighting, and sound, shared the weight of training young minds into technically sound and educated professionals, in the Procolor School of Photography and Filming (hyperlinked to the website of the school). This proved to be one of its kind in entire northern India, complete with a brilliant studio setup, exceptional mentors, and of course the undying spirit to teach!
2021
Expanding its wings further, Procolor has now joined hands with the Corporate Industry, specializing in Corporate photography and filming!
